How Do You Know?? Part Five

You’ve determined in your heart to be open to the Spirit’s leading.

You’ve prayed expectantly like a child asking his daddy for dessert.

You’ve grounded yourself in the priority for a follower of Jesus.

You’ve been led to specific and personal cues from God’sct Word.

You know what God is leading you to do.

Now what?

Give it a little ‘T – L – C’

– Trust It

L – Live It

C – Confirm It

Trust that how God has led you is right. Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6) AND His children walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Remember too that God is not One to intentionally confuse and cause chaos for His children for the sake of ‘messing with them.’ He loves you and knows your heart, motives, and intention. Trust it.

Live out what He has called you to do. Act on it. Do what He said do. To quote Nike, “Just Do It!” It’s one thing to know in your heart what His will is. It is a completely different thing to actually do it. Do not fear. Live it.

Confirm what He has led you to do by anticipating heart moves. What I mean is, as you walk by faith in how He has led you, look for confirming cues. Watch how your heart adjusts and moves toward that person or that community or that church or that job. His Spirit will resonate with your spirit and confirm the way in which He has called you is right. Circumstances may not be as expected. But your heart will know. Confirm it.

Doesn’t EVERYONE need a little T-L-C???
